REALLY USEFUL GERMAN SITE. This site is just what it says. All sorts of ideas and suggestions for teaching and exploiting specific topics and themes. There are materials to print and download and links to other sources of support. All written by a teacher from Burnley. There is the equivalent in French.

The Internet portal for German as a foreign language. Don't choose the flash intro, it takes ages, but click on the portal. You'll find materials, exercises and tests, links to very useful sites, ideas for teaching and many more interesting things.

The site of the German publishing company, but with teaching materials for English, French, German, Greek Italian and Spanish. Some materials are linked to their course books, but others are made from news items or on a theme, such as Festivals & Traditions. Take a look. On the red menu on the left, click on Erwachsenenbildung (Adult Education) and then on the language of your choice. All sorts of activities & exercises are available.

They can be done on line, or downloaded. Model answers are provided. Your college needs to subscribe, but it's not expensive and you can view samples first.
